Fitting the dough for your pie can be very simple, or difficult – depending on how you do it. Follow these steps:
1. Roll out your dough using a tapered pin, to 8-9 inches in diameter.
2. Using a dough scraper, lift the dough onto your rolling pin, picking it up, then reflour your surface and place your dough back down on the opposite side. Roll out until your dough is about 4 inches wider than your pie pan.
